Once there was a man..

"Once there was a man who went out to sow grain. As he scattered the seed in the field, some of it fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. Some of it fell on rocky ground, where there was little soil. The seeds soon sprouted, because the soil wasn't deep. But when the sun came up, it burned the young plants; and because the roots had not grown deep enough, the plants soon dried up. Some of the seed fell among thornbushes, which grew up and cholked the plants. But some seeds fell in good soil, and the plants bore grain: some had one hundred grains, oters sixty, and others thirty. And Jesus concluded, "Listen, then, if you have ears...

"Those who hear the message about the kingdom but do not understand it are like the seeds that fell along the path. The Evil One comes and snatches away what was sown in them. The seeds that fell on rocky ground stand for those who receive the message gladly as soon as they hear it. But it does not sink deep into them, and they don't last long. So when trouble or persecution comes because of the message, they give up at once. The seeds that fell among thornbushes stand for those who hear the message; but the worries about this life and the love for riches choke the message, and they don't bear fruit. And the seeds sown in the good soil stand for those who hear the message and understand it; they bear fruit, some as much as one hundred, others sixty, and others thirty." MATT. 13: I-24 (Jesus-A meditation on his stories and his relationships with women by Andrew Greeley)

This is a powerful message and sad and good to say that I see my family in this message. I will not out anyone, but hope that those whose eyes happen upon this will ponder, question, and think about which one they are.

The wait is finally over!

As of Saturday April the 3rd 2010 I have officially finished school and managed to graduate with honors! I am so excited and can't wait to get my diploma! Shit! I worked so hard for it and it feels really nice to have it finally be over. Now, all I need to do or all I want to do is find a job in my field and move on. I spoke to the kids about me going back to work and them going to before school and after school care and Julian is fine with it but my big boy Casey is having none of it! lol

But as one page closes another must open right? :) The kids are on spring break this week-well this is the last weekend of it- so I am just enjoying them and this time!

Until next time.
